Hoeing as a Possibility for Mechanical Weed Control in Winter Oilseed Rape (Brassica napus L.)

چکیده
The framework conditions for chemical weed control in oilseed rape (OSR) are becoming increasingly unfavorable Central Europe. On the one hand, resistance is spreading and, on other, there a growing social desire to reduce or eliminate use of crop protection products. In field experiment, hoeing, as measure performed two times per season (one time autumn and spring) (Brassica napus; varieties), was compared by herbicides combination hoeing herbicide application (five treatments altogether). consisted broad-spectrum pre-emergence treatment post-emergence graminicide application. trial set up each three periods (years 2014/2015, 2015/2016, 2016/2017) at experimental station Ihinger Hof, University Hohenheim, Stuttgart, Germany. effect plant density, biomass harvesting, OSR grain yield investigated. Weed density measured four year, before after hoeing. 2015/2016 spring 2016/2017 all data collection times, significantly higher without than other variants. No significant differences occurred times. ranged from 0.5 57.8 plants m?2. Regardless pure always resulted harvesting applications combinations. between 0.1 54.7 g years. According results, suitable extension existing integrated strategies OSR.

Interrelationships among oilseed rape (Brassica napus L.) grain yield and weed growth under different nitrogen levels
Management of nitrogen fertilization in crops is one of the most important components of integrated weed management. A two-year field experiment was conducted to determine the direct effects of wild mustard aboveground biomass and N content of wild mustard on oilseed rape yield. A set of factorial treatments was arranged in a randomized complete block design with four replications. Treatments w...

Gaining a greater understanding of the plant microbiota and its interactions with its host plant heralds a new era of scientific discovery in agriculture. Different agricultural management practices influence soil microbial populations by changing a soil's physical, chemical and biological properties. However, the impact of these practices on the microbiota associated with economically importan...

متن کاملA Probabilistic Model of Flower Fertility and Factors Influencing Seed Production in Winter Oilseed rape (Brassica napus L.)
The number of pods per plant and the number of seeds per pod are the most variable yield components in winter oilseed rape (WOSR). The production of a seed is the combination of several physiological processes, namely formation of ovules and pollen grains, fertilization of the ovules and development of young embryos, any problem in these processes may result in seed abortion or pod abortion. Bo...
